I know your GPA is not supposed to define who you are as a person, but I have been trying to join a sorority for 3 years now and I had a really difficult year academically and mentally. Now my GPA is gonna be a 2 something and I don’t know what to do

I went through a huge depression stage when I didn’t make it the first time. I don’t think I would be able to handle that happening again

I’m sorry love, can you take a gap year and work?

I’m really scared to take a gap year because I don’t want to fall behind, but I’m gonna need to start looking into it

Gap years are important and I’ve seen plenty of people take them and feel exceedingly better when returning to school. Some don’t go back and find a job they love.

Hey, op! I took a gap year myself and it really helped reset things. I know it can seem daunting to even think about. However, if during that gap year you find your resolve, you’ll be able to figure what you want to do and how. My final advice to you is this: just take things one step at a time (My gpa started out at 0.5, so it’s not the end of the world lol)

Sorry this came off as mean but if you’re doing as bad as you say you are it might just make sense to drop out. School’s expensive and if you’re not getting that return it doesn’t make sense to continue

School isn’t for everyone but it should be. You don’t have to go to a fancy 4-year-college to feel accomplished, but getting some type of school helps. Community college is something that people should look into. They’re 100% worth it for a fraction of the price
