personally as a bisexual I can very easily find women’s bodies attractive without acting entitled towards them, reducing them to sexual objects or making weird invasive comments

… huh? that first sentence was unintelligible, please try again. (I’m also not totally confident in your understanding of what semantics refers to tbh)

No. I’m just saying, this is YikYak, not Instagram or Snap. It’s the anonymous app where every other post is someone being horny. If you share a pic of yourself here you’re either dumb or thirst trapping.

well no actually, it’s perfectly reasonable to want positive feedback on your appearance via an app like this Without being fully objectified, you’re just making excuses for aggressive misogyny because that’s easier than doing the work of thinking critically and adjusting your own behavior

But I don’t behave that way and neither am I defending it. I’m acknowledging reality. Posting a pic of yourself on this app is a stupid idea.

you’re rather obviously defending the behavior at this very moment by insisting that every girl who posts a photo is “thirst trapping or stupid” rather than accepting that it’s normal to want friendly encouraging comments on one’s appearance

in order to Not be making excuses for misogynistic behavior, you’d have to stop blaming the women who are subjected to said behavior when they obviously don’t deserve the harassment. and yet here you are

No, it’s normal to want friendly encouragement. That’s what apps like Instagram or Snap is for. Posting a picture of yourself here is a stupid idea. You can disagree with the behavior without pretending like it’s not going to happen.
