Honestly, ykw, hell yeah? Actually waiting for someone who meets your standards/fits what you're looking for is good! It's NOT good to just settle and be with someone who isn't for you/you don't like/don't respect/etc. Ts is AWFUL for both parties! Romantic relationships/partnerships are way too important of a thing in your life to just be with anybody.
