More educated doesn’t mean you’re making more money and if you look at the data men are the higher earners. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics women’s earnings are about 83% of men’s. Not taking a side in the discussion just wanted to throw that out there

Yea because of the system. Women are more likely to be higher achievers academically and in the work force than men. Men “making more” doesn’t mean that they spend more. Women are becoming more breadwinners in households than men.

You are using data from one high earning field to try and make a general statement. 80% of healthcare workers being women doesn’t mean 80% of women are healthcare workers
