I don’t understand celebrating the cancelation of SNAP benefits, like why would I find enjoyment in anyone going hungry 😭

The same people rejoicing about SNAP being cancelled are the ones that want us to snotty nose cry about some random republican podcaster that died

My church does a program to help pass out food to people who need it locally and the influx of people coming in since snap benefits have been cut off and leading up to it have been terrifying. How is this not alarming to people? A teenager walked 7 miles to pick up 4 hot meals for his family who were too ill and did not have enough money to get it for themselves. If you celebrate things that Trump is doing to further demolish the state of our country, you are the worst part of the problem.

I’m worried where I am, my little college town is in a very rural part of the state and 1:4 people in the county are on snap benefits. Honestly wondering how long we have before my place gets robbed while I’m out someday or till I get held up buying groceries. It’s just dark that much earlier with daylight savings just having hit. Visited my friend Saturday and somebody had shot up the elevator in his place.

The President built a ballroom using taxpayer dollars and held a party worth millions all while pushing for millions of Americans to starve. The system is not broken, it is working exactly as intended.

Hank Green made a whole video on snap and what we can do in the meantime and what will happen if it doesn’t get fixed and he talked to someone who actually works in the charitable food industry

They don’t tho. No republican showed up when it was time to vote. They are not accepting that one democratic governor because she’d be the final vote of the Epstein list, and the democrats had to sue to get snap benefits accessible

Everyone wants to reopen the government dude. Everyone. The republicans are just as guilty as refusing over those topics. Everyone is equally as guilty. How are you blaming one side when the issue is they can’t agree? It is however the Republicans fault the funds put in place to continue these programs during a shutdown is not being released.

They aren’t taxpayer dollars, but donations. Obama used tax dollars for his renovation.

Obama converted the tennis courts to a basketball court not tear an entire portion of a historical monument

Historical monument? It was built in 1942 to hide a bomb shelter.

How ironic for you to say when Trump is actually probably expanding the bomb shelter to go under the ballroom 💀 he’s getting his “donations” from military contractors and a missile company. It either they are going to help also build the bomb shelter under it or they are donating in exchange for future contracts

yeah so those people should be receiving food? my point is people on snap aren’t freeloaders and that’s a false perception people have, i don’t care either way i don’t think literally anyone should go hungry but this was responding the original comment
