Really didn’t know you could them at fast food places (that was sarcasm is you couldn’t tell). . . Newsflash you can’t and Kelloggs and General Mills are behind a lot that doesn’t you can’t buy fresh produce with said programs because you can. If you can it frozen, canned or boxed you can buy it fresh, it’s about the consumers choice to take on the challenge of cooking healthier or taking easy route.
Don’t get me wrong the southern region in rural parts I can imagine it’s difficult living 40 miles from your nearest grocery store getting there and nothing fresh being available, it’s still your choice to get the canned and frozen goods that are relatively healthier. At the end of the day you can’t use EBT/SNAP/FOOD STAMPS at fast food places and I hate the rhetoric that people think you can, you can’t buy hot food not sold at a grocery store.
