honestly I might be too optimistic but I think it’s cute that humans want an excuse to dress up. Since becoming an adult i’ve realized that without prom or school dances, there will probably never be another reason for me to wear that formal of attire. the most i can think of dressing up for is for a wedding. of course there are 100% people that just do want attention and even to upstage the bride and groom, don’t get me wrong
