was otp w my gf and she had a sore on her lip (didn’t see it yesterday) 1 is this sus 2 is it wrong for me to say i don’t want to kiss her until it’s gone??? i’m scared to catch something i’ve never been in this situation before

Not weird to not kiss her! Protect yourself but also keep in mind it might not always be suspicious a lot of people get sores because it was passed down from a family member or if they where kissed by a carrier as a baby she may just be having a breakout now doesn’t always mean she’s cheating. I’d talk to her about it

The majority of the population (like 2/3rds iirc) has some strain of herpes, it just is usually dormant. Oral is the most common and is most often contracted during childhood. It’s definitely better to refrain from kissing, sharing food/drink, etc! Even though it’s statistically more likely that you have it, it’s always better to assume you done. It can be dormant for decades
