I hate trump, I really do. Why why why do yall worship him? He’s literally a comedically written villain like this isn’t real

I will never support Trump. I’m disappointed about the cap on financial aid for graduate school because it will make fields like medicine inaccessible for people that come from low income backgrounds. This cap is only making higher ed. accessible to the wealthy.

I don’t get people who love him but I also don’t get people who hate them. Both sides are just comically silly in my opinion, I understand disliking the guy or liking him but just because someone does things you disagree with doesn’t mean they’re a villain I feel like people too strong on any side find it difficult to see reason. I try to understand, and guess what? I then don’t hate a person because I see their perspective

I don’t think any person would purposely try and destroy the country they are president of. We don’t know the details, and I’m sure Trump has people much smarter than himself (or us) to support this idea and make it possible. If you want to make a change, and think you could do better, first you need to rise in politics yourself to gain to clearance to read about this in depth

And even if you think one thing very strongly, that doesn’t mean you’re right. Other people may see the world a completely different way and also think the same. Shouldn’t the truth be in the middle? For example: I used to think people who are pro life to be cruel. Guess what happened after I listened to enough of their arguments? I understood. I still think it’s safest for abortion to be legal, but I also understand their perspective and the reason why it’s banned in so many states

Sure. Just let republican dictators win. Let them take away Medicaid and let people die. Just let them deport non-criminal immigrants, US citizens, journalists, etc and send them to inhumane detention facilities. Let the fascism win and then act like this is all democrat’s doing. Just admit you’re an ignorant republican! Grow some fucking balls.

This kind of reaction is why I feel like you don’t know what you’re talking about and come in bad faith just to insult people. Do you really think that’s what’s happening? You exaggerate things and make such extreme claims to the point that it nullifies your argument completely

I’m not a closeted anything, I have found both democratic and republican candidates I liked and disliked, kind of the point of being center. Just because you think your extreme views are moderate does not mean you are moderate

You look at the shit Trump does and you don’t think he’s a villain? I’ve seen your type over and over and over again. You act like they’re both just as bad but you ignore all the blatant red flags AND you end up supporting republicans. I’m not a moderate. This country has no place for moderates. And if you don’t see that, then you also don’t recognize Trump’s abuse and that is either because you’re manipulated or you’re just as bad as him.

So if for example I truly am being manipulated, why insult me and say things like I’m a “waste of a human being”? That’s not at all how you make people trust and believe in you, but I don’t think you came here for people to actually hear you out and maybe be convinced — you came just to fight

Maybe y’all should take a hard look at yourselves as well you’re not as innocent as y’all claim to be. Getting rid of DEI , being openly homophobic, capping graduate school federal loans, RK JR claiming autistic people are a burden and that black people need to be on a different vaccine schedule than white people. Trump actively fighting against higher education. Making it mandatory for school to display the ten commandments. You’re showing children that the religion of some is more important.

If DEI is such a good idea shouldn’t it be required everywhere?

upvote -2 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #8 32w

I think you have a screwed view of DEI. For example: people like to say Justice Jackson on the supreme court is unqualified and only got where she is because of DEI . When you compare her accomplishments and qualifications to Justice Barrett they don’t even compare.

But then if DEI wasn’t a thing, nobody could say she got in due to that. Her own merit pushed her through, and there would be no argument — DEI makes it seem like she got the easy way in when she worked hard and didn’t need it

How is getting rid of DEI a great thing? DEI wouldn’t have been needed in the first place if workplaces and institutions of educations were nit discriminatory in the first place No, one is trying to turn kids gay. When I have kids I want to teach them that everyone’s family dynamic is different and one is not better than the other.

You’re so hypocritical. Y’all talk about the left indoctrinating kids but y’all are literally putting the 10 commandments in classrooms. Classrooms are filled with children of different religions and only displaying one in the classroom is showing those kids that one religion is more important than another. Religion has no place in the classroom unless you specifically enroll your child in a religious school.
