I think you should make it clear if your feeling confused he might be aswell so it’s best to clear the air and see how you both feel about eachother before moving forward and potentially getting hurt cause of miscommunication. Why do you feel like you don’t know what love is?

I mean we’ve been dating for over a year, so I don’t think there’s too much confusion (at least I hope not.) I feel like sometimes people will say love and then realize that their definition of love changes. Not sure if that answers your question though
