i just get the feeling from her that im an obligation or a responsibility instead of a friend and it fucking sucks and i feel like a fucking idiot every time she comes into town because i get my hopes up that maybe things will go back to the way they were

i made her a gift for her birthday and i genuinely put so much effort into it and its been a month and i havent heard anything and it’s just embarrassing im embarrassed i even care this much
