Same, I remember the first post I saw was about how someone found a bag of weed and $500 in our football stands. Yik Yak was crazy back then.

YY sucks today compared to what it was lol. Way way better back then. Literally sex stories left & right random hook ups . Would never happen now 🤣.

That’s when it first came out. It was nastier, wetter, and wilder. Partying and hookups galore.

It also didn’t work nearly as well or have a lot of the current features. I remember when they didn’t even have a way to track who said what in a post or threads for conversations! I’d literally rely multiple times saying different things to see who liked what comment most cause no one could tell it was the same person replying 😂

They also had icons for each reply. Like an ice cream, donut, boat, etc.

And then I remember it was taken down in early 2017 because of all the cyberbullying allegations. Then it relaunched in 2021.
