Tbh I wish I had my virginity, but from someone who was in a horrible experience just know that is even more true than anything. Idk why people are so obsessed with it. When it was consensual it was bad.

I do agree that people are too obsessed with it, and I’m sorry you had a bad experience with it and I don’t want to downplay what you went through but I don’t think it changes the fact that people who’ve never done it before really want to see what sex feels like and the feeling of FOMO can be overwhelming when you’re one of the few left of the people you know.

Well first of all, I’m a straight man so I don’t think the dildo is for me. And personally I’m not looking to lose my virginity through a random hook up. I want to with someone I love and see a future with. But there are others who are virgins who feel pressured by societal standards that they have to lose it by a certain time and that can be reason enough to find a random hook up, and clearly that can lead to bad outcomes

I’m not trying to argue or downplay your experience at all. I agree it’s better to wait for the right time. I’m just saying that there are pressures around it that cause people to really want to lose their virginity
