‘it doesn’t affect you’ isn’t the best argument, you can absolutely have an opinion, my point is that consensual behavior between adults isn’t morally comparable to behavior involving victims, you still shouldn’t call consenting adults gross, your argument isn’t very solid

“It doesn’t affect me” wasn’t my argument, it was #2s. And I’m not disputing that they aren’t morally comparable, that’s not what the debate was over. The point was that we can in fact have opinions on situations not directly involving us, and the extreme example was a way to show that, because I’m positive #2 had an opinion on the Epstein situation, despite it not directly affecting them.

Just to clarify I wasn’t saying this when making my post I specially specified condoms because if yoy habitually hookup with random people you don’t know their sti or std status of it can effect the other people you sleep with that’s why I say it’s important to use them.
