Yea I get really nervous… Ive had a coworker dribble snot onto chicken and still serve it…. It was on the paper the chicken sat on but still thats nasty af… We are also a higher end establishment… I dont trust ANYWHERE anymore. You gotta realize these people are overworked and exhausted so if theres a mistake and no one notices they absolutely will not say anything to prevent more work… Its really frustrating

We put a lot of trust in food workers. I’m allergic to dairy (not like fatally but I get a rash) and every time I get coffee with non-dairy milk I think about this post I saw years ago about a barista who said she secretly puts normal milk in the coffees of girls who ask for non-dairy milk “if they look like they don’t need to lose weight”
