No because people with in home coffee businesses on tik tok are getting out of hand with pricing, how are you going to charge $7-$10 for a small or medium when I can get a bigger size at Dutch Starbucks or Peet’s for the same price or cheaper 💀💀💀

How the hell does one have a “home” coffee business. Are they just buying beans in bulk and grinding them? Because if they’re somehow roasting small batches themselves in their kitchen, that explains the price but like that’s…not worth it? I do pay about that much for ground coffee but that’s because it’s fair trade.

Idk I see them all the time on even yik yak people selling drinks out of their apartment or home or whatever; you know how people do it for candied pineapple or small businesses you pull up outside and they bring it to u??? It’s on tik tok and insta and ive seen it on here. Nah they make u an actual drink but over priced! Some even use instant coffe💀 they’re not selling beans or grinds

Candied/preserved goods is one thing, that’s a normal cottage industry. Drinks is just…strange. I assumed they were packaging actual coffee and was like “how do you even manage that from your home” but you’re saying people are playing kitchen barista? Yeah why would I choose that over some place that gets routine health inspections

Yeah either way anyone who’s selling soul or Mexican food; candies, coffees from their home is definitely overpricing inspection or not 😭😭 but even the people who are making pineapple stuff is the same because its in their home they’re making and touching everything. If ur running ur own business it should not be more expensive than chain stores lets be realistic 😭😭

Same things as I’ve seen people having little carts or kind of taco truck style selling coffee or desserts etc— it’s just so fuckin expensive when I can go to circle k for $1 coffee or ampm or 4.90 at Starbucks !! This girl that I was looking to get some from right down the street wants $9-10 for a large and $6-9 dollars for a small/ medium
