I’ve had to have a tooth pulled from decay, in my experience it didn’t affect my dating life. But on a personal self confidence level and future health view I would say visit a dentist get a deep cleaning below the gum line and seal the cavities before it gets to the point of decay. If you are under 25 and your parents have insurance most of it will be covered and same as well if you have dental from your employer. Otherwise payment plans are offered through most dental offices
It’s easier to maintain after you get a professional cleaning with just flossing after every meal and a decent toothbrush. And the cost usually isn’t as bad as you think. But ignoring it will cost you far more later (1 tooth I paid over $4k for extraction, bone graft, and implant) a deep cleaning is only necessary when you haven’t been to the dentist in a while (~$300) after it’s just $100 for regular cleaning go 2x/yr seals are about $150 each without insurance
