The "trans women get periods too" conversation wouldn't be happening if reproductive health was actually taught in schools. no girl, taking the same dose of estrogen every day does not give you a period, that's antithetical to what a menstrual cycle is

FWIW trans women can experience rises and falls in estrogen levels similar to how a cis woman’s hormones fluctuate throughout her menses. Not really a period obviously but maybe it’s worth discussing

Estrogen is not the only relevant hormone in a menstrual cycle and unless you're on a cyclical hormone regimen, it it's not similar to a cis woman's menstrual cycle. And even then, if you don't ovulate and you don't have a uterine lining to shed, then you don't have a period. A period is not just mood swings or whatever, not even everyone who gets a period has mood swings
