I don’t talk about my finances with anyone because I really hate bragging but I was able to put 10k into my savings over the last 12 months and I’m really proud of myself for that. I come from a food stamps household so I never imagined saving so much

That’s the plan, I’ve got about 7k invested rn with the plan to add 30% of my remaining earnings for the summer, any specific strategies you’d recommend? I’ve pretty much got everything in index funds atm

Index funds and ETFs are the way to go until you have about 30-50k in an account. Instant diversification. Then you can start buying up individual stocks. Tbh it all depends on how aggressive you want to be. SPY is pretty good but a lot of it is ai stocks so it depends on how bullish you are in that.
