I’m Asian and I’ve learned it’s cause of decades of propaganda (especially during & after WW2) by white westerners and colonizers that many East and Southeast Asian people had to deal with. Example, the Philippines was colonized by Spain and the United States for centuries total. Now look at how racist some of them can get. Too many of my own people try to pander to white ppl to try looking like “one of the good Asians”. You ain’t never gonna catch me with that same racist colorist mindset 🙂‍↔️
