Compared to what exactly? Living standards are some of the best in the world, great food, great balance of life, single market access across multiple, entirely different countries and cultures… it’s not perfect and things move slow, too much bureaucracy, but at the same time, it’s far better than most places

The food is incredibly overhyped undeniably. And the whole quality of life of based on European standards. To one person working in a small dirty coffee shop five hours a day is a good life. To most people, that’s a waste of a life

It doesn’t matter. I’ve been all over Europe and it sucks. If you think the work you do doesn’t matter and protesting on train tracks has a positive impact on the world, then go ahead and live your dream. But as for the rest of world, Europe sucks and no one actually enjoys going there
