You don’t need 3 rounds of interviews to hire someone for an entry-level position. It is a waste of literally everyone’s time. Ask what you want to in the first-round interview, and if you have follow-up questions, in the follow-up interview. ENOUGH.

Idc what career, it’s an entry-level position. If you are paying someone entry-level wages, you can make your decision in two consecutive meetings instead of five. Make the interviews longer if necessary. But as someone who is well acquainted with HR, the interview process is BULLSHIT. They know what candidates they like after round 1. Call those candidates back and make the decision after a thorough interview. There is nothing to be gained from a fourth, fifth, interview besides literally USING

If you’re well versed in HR then why are you complaining verses doing something about it? Not every company is the same. There are trials and regulations for a reason.

Just because I know how HR works doesn’t mean I can change how HR works I don’t work in HR. Why are you obsessed with repeating yourself over & over again in inefficient interviews which don’t help company or applicant?
