im going to assume ur being genuine w this question & want a genuine answer. if u r not, kindly disregard🙂‍↕️ so, the reason there is a limited amount of sexes (penis-male, vagina-female, intersex ppl) as u pointed out & that limitation doesnt apply as much to gender (man, woman, nb, queer, etc) is bc sex is supposed to be the biological term referring to someones anatomy & gender is then the term that refers to an individuals social identity. there can be a discrepancy between the two which is
