Fun fact: the man who invented the sandwich was Chef Leopard de Francois, the head chef for the Earl of Sandwich. As the story goes, the Earl was a big cards player, and wanted something he could snack on with one hand. This way, he could eat and play cards simultaneously. Hence, Chef Leopard invented the “sandwich”, named after the Earl. True story
