most men say they're kinky but in reality they just like being aggressive and dominant. super lame. let me eat your ass, get on ur knees and beg me for sex, lets have period sex... or get out of my face.

Aggressive cruel stuff in the bedroom is very alien to me. And tbh I find it concerning how many men seem to fantasize about committing sexual violence against women. Like I know the whole ā€œdon’t kinkshameā€ stuff but it seems concerning to me about the deeper psychology. I am a man and I like getting dominated in bed but there’s a difference between like commanding and violent y’know?

And ive had partners who prefer me to be the dominant one in bed and I’ve done that happily but I’m always checking in on them and making sure it’s ok. Wanting to like hurt someone sounds awful.

i genuinely think male sexual violence towards women is just repackaged patriarchy. think about it- why am i supposed to desire a man physically harming me in any context? its important to critically analyze kinks instead of shutting down interesting conversations

I mean I have a kink which is very innate looking back on my life so we could say that many or most aren’t innate.

also male pornography use is DIRECTLY TIED TO the dehumanization of women. its almost like these fetishes/kinks were manufactured by the porn industry.. which we were all exposed to at a very young age, forever altering how we perceive sex.šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

I definitely concur that a lot of it has to be repackaged patriarchy. I think that probably plays both into why many men view violence as sexually gratifying and can play into why some women glorify it as well. BUT there’s also sadistic women out there and masochistic men.

there are sadistic and masochistic ppl out there. but i have to wonder if those behaviors, including hypersexuality, are a result of trauma and then further amplified by porn use? i wonder if therapy may be a healthier solution?

honestly i could probably write an essay on why i find the mutual aggression hot, but i don't like a violent power imbalance because it seems entirely about just wanting to hurt someone for the hell of it. but i'm sure that's what mine looks like from the outside too, i wont act like mine's better. i think there's definitely a difference between kink pain for pleasure and porn-based violence, but i don't know enough on the subject to make an actual statement on it

I mean the most obvious difference is clear communication and consent but I also feel like in kink that might be more of a necessary thing adopted to ensure safety than a fundamental part of the kink itself?

Like I’ll go ahead and say that the ā€œinnate kinkā€ I alluded to possessing is vore. And that obviously involves implied violence in many cases. But like it’s such an unrealistic and fantastical form of violence that I feel like you don’t have to grapple with it in the same way as realistic violence in kink. Like you don’t have to actually think about it realistically because it’s impossible, and generally no one is actually going to try to eat each other

yeah, although with more extreme kinks i think it's more fundamental for both safety and comfort of both parties to participate. if you're doing a scene that's questionable, you're weird if you don't want to be 110% sure that both parties are on board

Also it’s hard to like fuck up vore. You generally won’t actually hurt someone while pretending it like you can if kink pain gets out of control. So media portrayals that leave out like all the consent and stuff leaves much less room for incentivizing actual sexual violence.

lol i wasnt expecting vore 😭😭😭 no judgement bro. i personally like wrestling, pillow fighting, play fighting etc. as foreplay (NOT PUNCHING OR ACTUALLY HURTING ANYONE 😭). it gets me going and makes me feel connected to the other person

I mean it’s a fuckin weird one that’s for sure. There’s a reason I think some kinks are innate, because media sure as fuck didn’t convince me to be into that 😭

I’m on the dominant side of switch and a woman. It worries me how many men want to be degraded and treated like trash. I can’t and won’t do that to someone I like. I just want to be obeyed sometimes or if I have another switch, tease them into taking control.

The amount of men pleasantly surprised that I don’t want to treat them like shit that I’ve met in kink circles is also really worrying. Like… a whole lot of men are either getting off doing violence (doms) or having violence/cruelty done to them. & apparently there’s also a surge in women who want to be violent and/or cruel under the guise of ā€œdominanceā€.

Idk if it was 50 shades that made people think in appropriately pushing limits or doing violence was kink or if it’s just a really toxic culture shift but I hate this for the community.

Spiritually I wouldn’t do it unless it’s someone I want to marry but people that won’t touch at all over a period are weird. Like… use a finger, use a toy, whatever. Don’t not get your partner off.

šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø it’s a blood tie, within some belief systems it means your souls will be tied together and you’ll be in each others lives for the rest of them. If you don’t believe that, it’s fine but I do and I just wouldn’t have period sex without definitely wanting to keep that person.
