Ever since I got Tourette’s it feels like my mind just can’t comprehend stuff for shit. Like I’m still smart and can grasp complex shit but when it comes to figuring out words to say or even just talking I struggle a fuck ton. Idk I might be tripping

Yeah you don’t really just spawn in with Tourette’s lol. I got it when I moved from home like my second year of high school. It was severe out of the blue but it’s settled down thankfully. But with all the aggressive jerking, hitting myself, slamming my head on things, etc. I think it’s fucked with my mind at least a little but I have zero proof

I just remember being a quick thinker, able to talk normally or at least I assumed I could, not stumble on my words all the time, or forget words SO fucking often. I could be exaggerating idk but it’s really making me feel like an idiot and I hate it

My doctor said it was weird that I developed it so late because I have no prior family history or even signs of Tourette’s until I moved so they assumed it was stress related. So BOOM my brain is a silly 👌🏾
