I’ve given up trying to be funny with people half of them act like aliens who have never interacted with people before. I had a coworker who would BURST out laughing any time I said ANYTHING, genuinely anything at all not even trying to be funny. I’m traumatized.

This is why I just stop speaking. As a woman I also feel like my humor can get branded wrong very easily. So unfortunately I’ve just learned to not be myself where I am not comfortable.

She seemed very heterosexual I doubt it lmao. She was just a genuine weirdo. One time I said “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth” and she was dying because she had never heard that phrase before and thought it was crazy of me to say that
