It’s at a point where the standards for an ideally attractive person for any gender is so narrowed down that now it only applies to like 50 people on the planet. In a weird way I feel like kinks and preferences helps break down those barriers and makes a better spectrum of attraction cuz now more people are into bald people, nerds, plus size people, short people, everybody unconventional and yet there’s still a spectrum of natural connection more in the kinks than there are on most dating apps
