If someone wants your information bad enough, they’ll get it from anywhere.. there can and have been data leaks about student information. No where is safe and more than likely you already have sensitive information on the internet.

Uhhhh so the companies that are being used to do that verification have been shown again and again to be unsafe, they get hacked easily which means ALL of your info is now just out there, they lie about storing your identity, they start to build profiles on you to better sell you things and, in todays climate, the data is often sold to governments for surveillance (I know that sounds conspiracy theory ish but like they are discussing this exact thing in the US Congress right now)

And in the US specifically ICE has been proven to be building a database of everyone they come across no matter their immigration or citizenship status and they can legally hold it for up to 15 years and they’re one of the organizations buying this data

Omg Yeah so ID verified is when they ask you to scan in a government ID like your drivers license or a passport Photo verified is when they ask you to take Live Photos or whatever just of you
