Guys are very enamored by my looks. So when he says “I really like you” after just talking for a few days, I’m not impressed but annoyed. I believe it should take time to get to know someone to like them.
You also realize that the brain decides in ten seconds if you’ll like someone? So it could be possible they do like you for more than just your looks

I disagree. I think love happens quickly. Not at first sight, but within the first few times you meet someone

It can be fast if you the connection is authentic and not just physical

You can be attracted to someone and be clouded by lust. Happens a lot.

Mhm, you make a fair point. I believe love happens when both people are tested to choose kind words in times of anger. That is not love happening quick, that is a long time of evolving emotions and solid commitment growing into love.

You can also choose kind words in times of anger when you aren’t in love with somebody

Yeah but seems like you are immediately assuming if a guy says they like you that they are lying

Indeed you can. The point is, love and liking someone is used too loosely nowadays and that’s why situationships exist.

No, not that they are lying, at least not all the time. I just don’t believe in the impulsivity of liking someone and expecting the person to immediately feel the same towards them. I take my time, I believe others should too.

Oh well yeah if I tell someone I like them, man or woman, I’m just telling them cause I want them to know. I don’t expect them to like say it back or feel it back. It would be nice! But not required
