i have a gene that makes it so that i can smell ants. guys. this shit is the worst. not only can i smell the pungent odor, but some foods actually taste like the way they smell and it seriously narrows down the things i can consume without getting sick

also!!! this is a gene that apparently is connected to the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap for some people. go figure, i also have that gene.

no, thank GOD. if i crush an ant, i can smell it. or, if there are a lot of ants in an area, i can smell them. like, my house is in a rural area so we get ants in the spring and it’s so obvious to me when they’re around because there are SO MANY
