Funny to think about how many things that would be considered royalty activities are just standard life for us now. Like we have endless entertainment in our pockets at all times 😂

This reminded me of one of my fav historical facts: Britain is so anti spice/flavor now because after the country did a lot of bad things in India and made spices more widely available to the common person, the royalty needed a way to separate themselves so they decided spiced food was “impure” and eventually the rest of the country followed that example.

Once you look into it, you start to realize a lot of British culture is just trying way too hard to be different lol. Accents included.

Britain is funny, like how did you conquer like the entire world and lose all of it, and the culture is built around trying to pretend like they don’t care when they do
