Yeah I’d imagine an environment where the expectations of self control and effort are below the bare minimum for society is probably pretty “nice”

You’re one silly goose. The trajectory of a persons entire life is heavily determined by what other people think of them. That’s like systematically how people get jobs, loans and terms for housing, collaboration with others, get sentenced to prison lol. Yes your image isn’t everything but to suggest valuing it “defines stupidity” is possibly the dumbest take you could have about life

well yes yes it is nice not to feel judged for struggling to meet social expectations when there are chemical barriers in the brain from doing so
