going to break up with my bf, he’s an amazing guy but our goals are too separate and he needs a nara smith type girl, not me. i love him more than life, i need to do it in person but i wont see him for like 2 weeks so i have to live with this guilt.

he has no goals aside from wanting to get engaged in 3-4 years, we’ve only been together a few months but personally when that time comes i won’t be in the state. i want to go to PA school for 2 years which requires 1 year of class room education and 1 year of randomly assigned residency, switching every 6 months. i am a sophomore rn and still have a lot of school, he wants a housewife and a traditional marriage even though he says that im what he wants. he’s also very christian, im agnostic

Breaking up with him is a good idea then, that’s sad though

thank you, i’m trying to tell myself that. i know he’ll find someone better and it’s messed up but i want him to. he needs to find someone better for him and i need someone who understands my stress about school and aligns with my goals
