I’m a guy. I have such nice conversations with people on Yik Yak. Sometime I even offer them to hang out, platonically of course, when I then say I’m a guy however they completely ghost me.

People have preferences. Now, if a guy immediately starts with sexual comments, pics, etc after learning it’s a female, then he has no class, maturity or respect and should be blocked

That’s wild. I recently just downloaded this app cause I’m a freshmen and I’ve been talking to people and have been having nice conversations with others too. I’ve had bad experiences with men but I know not everyone is the same. I still get nervous tho cause I’m cautious. Especially if I’m meeting someone in person from online. Although completely ghosting a person is a dick move frfr.

I mean don’t go to a invite from someone on frat row or middle of nowhere death murder building. But if your on the KU page and someone asks you 9 times out of ten it’s just someone who’s being nice and wanting to make friends. I never know the gender of who I’m talking to and I like it that way.
