Yeah no. I married who I wanted. Who I knew I needed in my life. And someone who would literally drop everything at anytime to be with me

Also, why is that there are some men who wait up to 5 years and others who will within a year. Money aside. Is a commitment thing?

There’s been some debate on this obviously but what seems to be the norm these days is that a man will partner with someone equal to them or maybe up or down one in value. An example would be let’s say a guy is a 7 in looks. That average man who is a 7 will usually partner with an 8, 7, or 6. Finances don’t play a part. Women are often willing to admit they want a 10 in looks and 10 in financial stability. Money is a factor. Maybe they’ll take a look at a 9 or 8, but anyone below that is…

Honestly? A lot of those “wait 5 years” guys have been burned in the past. They just want to be sure. They want time to hopefully unveil any of the secrets still lurking around. And yeah, some just don’t like commitment or find the value in an actual marriage. Marriage is either a religious thing, a government license, or just two people deciding to spend their lives together. Sometimes a combo of any/all three.

… “beneath their value” as a woman. A woman is much more likely to view themselves as the valuable thing in the relationship whereas the man views what he is able to provide as the valuable thing in the relationship.
