Also please sign this waiver so your parents can let you watch a video of a woman giving birth. We really just don’t ever want you to have kids.

Yaknow I never really understood the fear of the birth video. It’s 45 seconds of out comes baby and she didn’t really even scream all that much? What would actually scare kids is everything they leave out. Like common birth complications (nuchal cord, jaundice, meconium, etc) and the ever so vital step of DELIVERING THE PLACENTA

For some of those kids this is their first actual exposure to the subject and some people have pretty adverse reactions. I saw it in my school people were just hysterical. Meanwhile me and this girl were talking about how much hair she had down there

Yaknow I do wish more of our anatomy diagrams we used in health classes/sex ed had hair included. It would help normalize it for everyone. And it’s not like we need full bush, just enough to show where it grows while allowing the anatomy to be visible

Yea that would make sense. Show people that it’s normal! At those ages some people just have no clue. I heard some crazy stuff from kids when I was in high school lol they just had no idea and their access to razors and clippers were both too accessible (people using bad razors) and not accessible enough (people with enormous bushes they were embarrassed about)

Me using kids crafting scissors to trim bc I couldn’t use my normal shaving razor due to server folliculitis >>>>>>>>>>

At this point I’ve opted to using beard clippers for most of it. Crafting scissors kinda makes sense tho

See stuff like this is why I feel so behind because I have no idea what “the birth video” is I mean I know it’s a video of a woman giving birth but like, is it a universal thing

Kinda? I think most places use the same video but honestly you’d get more information out of a tv show like call the midwife than the entirety of sex ed

I bought the Schick hydrosilk bikini trimmer in college for myself and it works great! I am tempted to switch to those tiny electric beard trimmers that are like flat instead of clipper style to see if that works better. I don’t trim for aesthetics I trim purely bc I’m a southern girl and it’s fucking hot here. Nobody wants soggy pubes all summer

I see. I never bothered actually learning the nitty gritty details though I did have the talk which taught me like, the basics so good to know I didn’t miss too much

As long as you’ve been taught safe sex practices (always use barrier protection no matter the type of sex you’re having), know how to properly clean and handle your own anatomy, know the basics of the other sex’s anatomy, and understand sex = baby bc sperm+egg=embryo, baby comes out the business end, there’s THREE HOLES, you’re good

Okay I knew like 80% of this I think, I never bothered with looking up anatomy because I was too busy being a lazy bum (and I was scared of getting in trouble with my parents)

Please emphasize that yes there’s 3 holes but only 2, if not 1, should be used

Nah I’m big chillin and love educating people. I had to teach my group of friends how hormonal birth control worked in college bc either the guys or girls actually knew. What info do you feel you’re lacking big dog we can get through this together
