Idk about the hostel one, I’ve heard not great stories but also hotels and Airbnb have not great stories. But I’d rather not be sharing in room with seven other women I don’t know because real talk a lot women are weird and they’ll straight plan to jump you and sharing a bathroom with seven other women sorry lot of women are gross. I’ll take the hotel and barricade the door when I sleep.

Idk I’m always traveling I’ve met people in hotels all the time, bars, museums, coffee houses; you don’t need to stay in a hostel to meet people when traveling. I just don’t see any safety in a hostel, which is why I personally wouldn’t.

It's not. If you can spend $350s/night on a hotel for no reason other than to take pictures and tell people you stayed in a hotel, there's nothing barring you from getting a private room in a hostel except optics, especially if a big point of the trip is to meet people and find plans that way. You're not gonna meet people staying by yourself in a hotel

You're missing the point several times over. 1.) you can get a private room in a hostel 2.) safety is not the reason why the people I'm talking about won't stay in a hostel. I don't need you to justify to me why you don't wanna stay in a hostel when I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about people who won't stay in a hostel for no reason other than they think they're too good for it
