This post is true for most people, but sometimes losing weight is some of the worst things you can to do your body (ex: anorexia and other types of ED)

yeah dude I love having all this loose skin and getting hurt more easily due to boniness and no longer being able to tolerate cold weather

Yes, in some cases (speaking from experience here), losing weight can actually be REALLY bad for you - bone density loss, mental fog, extreme tiredness, etc. Please seek out professional help if you or someone you know is struggling!!

it shouldn’t be that way though. we didn’t deserve the mistreatment we received when we were larger and we shouldn’t have had to alter our own bodies to be regarded with basic decency

yeah, there are plenty of chronic illnesses where weight loss can actually exacerbate symptoms not to mention weight loss can itself be a warning sign of illness progression / worsening (“wasting away”, inability to properly absorb nutrients etc), which isn’t exactly life-improving either
