Chicken or egg though. Did the fetish exist or did the larp exist. I’m not stimming I think it’s just really funny. When I grew up larp was “live action role play” and there were medieval larpers in my neighborhood park that would battle in armor and such. But now, larp is doing pare tending to do something you never did. It’s just funny how words change.

im glad you know the origins of the word bc i fear many don’t, and though i don’t have control over it, the change for larp to become synonymous w poser kinda pisses me off .. that’s not what it means!!!! i also don’t get what you mean by chicken or egg? why would people fake daddy issues en masse if there was no reason to? plus misogyny is everywhere and held more by men than women so it doesn’t make sense that a fetish that sexualizes women’s trauma to have come from poser women

Maybe the OG daddy issues snipers were after the actual trauma but I dunno if that’s because misogyny or because their own trauma. The biggest group of people committing crimes is not any racial group, it’s people who were abused as children ie sexually or physically.
