And that was based on a stereotype of what the dominate features should be. Tons of Jewish people with white skin murdered because they had dark hair & eyes. Women being burned for the accusation of witch craft. People result to cruel measures out of indifference and fear. Small minded communities and what is taught to children is to be blamed. Hate is taught, it is not something you’re born with.
