well, i can understand where you’re coming from but though he may seek to destroy and indirectly cause suffering, he doesn’t necessarily “enjoy” torturing people if that makes sense. he’s still very very evil

the devil doesn’t need to make those who choose him feel miserable. that’s why u may see “bad people receiving good things.” the devil wants those who don’t want him. he wants to reel in those souls who are actively seeking out Christ by reeling them into temptation in subtle ways.
