It’s amazing, after like 2 periods of trying it by the third your body is trained to just have super light super short periods. Mine last not even 3 days now and they’re light asf. Before I did free bleeding they’d last 8 days, would be so heavy that I’d bleed through multiple layers of periods diapers, and I’d uncontrollably throw up for days

I'm a man so it's not like I'm gonna do it but tbh freebleeding is like 2% as gross as a man is in general so maybe you're just levelling the playing field

i've never used tampons and only pads, is it really that different from freebleeding? my flow is absurdly heavy so i don't want to take the risk of going padless

For the first couple periods you do it, yes. After that though your body trains itself for them to be a lot lighter. Mine are so light that the blood doesn’t even leak out, I’m able to just wear black underwear and I go to the bathroom every 1-2 hours just to wipe away the blood on my lips

i don’t think the risk would be worth it especially cus you wouldn’t know if that’d be the case for you before starting

It’s been the case since I started freebleeding 2 years ago. Plus, you can usually gauge from your cramps how strong your bleeding is going to be

Yes it’s different because pads contain chemicals and metals that mess up your cycle the same way tampons do. You probably don’t absorb as much since it’s not inserted but you do still absorb it

if i put something on top of the pad like toilet paper would that simulate freebleeding?

Tbh I actually don’t know. I’m not sure if that would be enough of a barrier or not
