Taking child development classes make me realize that EVERYONE and ANYONE who's seriously thinking about having a kid should be required to take and pass a graduate-level child development course (for free, ofc) NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING 😭

So true and real. Not even just this though: mandatory financial lit/ personal finance courses in high school, some mandatory "basic life skills" class at some point, and a comprehensive "child development class" at or around college age, and society would be a lot better off.

Financial literacy classes aren’t even required to graduate highschool in many states, greatly agree because my 11th grade finance class is the only reason I know how to save and handle money now
