I feel like a lot of straight women are biphobic and are not willing to grapple with that and fix it.

By talking to people (outside of anti-LGBT people) Ive found more men are okay with their partners being bi than women. I think a lot of people are biphobic because they think it means they’ll cheat with someone of the same sex. Which makes no sense because if a hetero wanted to cheat they’d cheat anyway only with the opposite gender

in my experience, more men are okay with having bi partners because they amount our bisexuality to something “hot” or “attractive” and something to fetishize as opposed to actually taking our sexuality seriously

Fetishizing is definitely bad. They’re like opposing but parallel issues. Like i don’t want women to be biphobic but I also don’t want them to fetishize gay or bi men IE Heated Rivalry. But of course men fetishizing gay or bi women also has the misogyny dimension making it more dangerous.
