idk man there comes a point where begging for the distinction starts sounding like a “not all men.” sure okay but it’s enough of them that it’s an issue. we should all focus more on correcting the behavior and holding people accountable than just trying to separate ourselves from the problem/absolve ourselves of responsibility
The process of solving a problem starts with identifying the problem, separating it from what isn’t the problem and then solving that problem (when possible). Trust me, a real man isn’t gonna call a woman a whore for rejecting them, that being said most “men” are taken due to this simple fact.
i wouldn't call them boys. they're not. BUT they're not men either. the same way you don't want people to call them bits because they're not, they're also not actually men. men is a social construct, they're just adult males who don't know how to act. but they're neither men nor boys.
I get your point, but that changes nothing. they perceive themselves as men and everyone else perceives them as men, and they continue seeing them as men even after they’ve been misogynistic. currency is also a construct but a dollar isn’t any less valuable when you point out that it’s just a piece of paper. it’s still effectively a dollar and they’re still effectively men. calling them boys detracts from the fact that they are still perceived as men.
i literally said i wouldn't call them boys either. how bout monsters? men don't do that shit. and currency is not even relatable to gender cmon now. that would be like saying scribbling a 5 on a 1 makes it a 5. they're different. also dollar bills don't have behavior. that's the driving factor behind gender. behave like a man, you're a man. don't? you're not a man.
