Rest in peace Alex Pretti. Fuckkkk you iceee go rot in fucking hell. I hopeeeee every single ice officer suffers through the worst of the worst. Ice is by far the most concentration camp thing ever. I’m so upset right now

Just because shits worse in other countries, doesn’t mean we need to accept poor treatment or violence. That’s common sense I fear.

They’re targeting violent criminals who are living in our country illegally. I don’t understand why you would want to defend rapists, murderers, etc.

Not all ice officers are bad just like how not all people are not bad. ICE is simply doing their job because you have criminals who broke the first law of the country being entering illegally or causing crime. In any other country, these laws are much more brutal so i understand your frustration but it’s selected few officers who go against the law to support their own agendas.

People in Africa get killed and raped everyday just for being in the wrong city at the wrong time. There’s plenty in this world to be mad about. And yet this one thing is what sticks

People in America get killed and raped every day. Get over yourself.

bro nobody’s saying that other tragedies *don’t* matter. people are the most outraged at the ice situation right now because it is happening everywhere in our own country. it’s affecting our communities and yet many of us did not want this. it’s shocking to see so many unjust and violent deaths posted to social media. it causes fear in a lot of us because it can be just about anyone being harassed or even killed by ice.

people have died in those detention centers. they are taken without due process and under threat of violence. they said they were going to take the “worst of the worst” yet they’re taking literal toddlers and separating them from their parents.

i think op is completely reasonable in their anger. his death was entirely unjust and we can channel anger into taking action against what is happening

It doesn’t matter if hatred is “justified”. It’s never a good thing. We need to stop normalising it. Speak your opinions without hatred

i’m not speaking with any hatred. i do agree with you that hate should not be normalized. it should be reserved for the people who committed real atrocities instead of vulnerable people

Enforcing the law doesn't require stripping away basic human dignity. There’s a massive difference between border security and the systemic mistreatment of families. Just because other countries are more brutal doesn't mean we should lower our moral standards to match.

Other countries…that’s like literally all of the world. People have so much privilege in the United States, that they misuse it. Italy for example has banned illegal immigration completely. Go to Israel as an illegal they will literally k*ll you. When you step into a country without proper identification or documentation you’re breaking the first law of that country.

Actually, that’s not quite how it works. Italy hasn't 'banned' immigration; they are bound by EU law and the UN Refugee Convention to process anyone seeking asylum. your words about Israel is a huge exaggeration, they use detention and deportation, not execution. Also if the law is unfair why would people even follow that, look at what Americans have done to the world

If that were vaguely true, they'd have raided 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500. There's an insectionist, felon and rxpist bouncing around. What say you
