because sexual compatibility is important in a romantic relationship. if it turns out that the partner that you married cannot satisfy you sexually (and this goes for both genders), you will not be happy in that relationship/marriage

there’s more to relationships than just sex. also if you both waited, how would yall know what’s good and what’s bad? God wouldn’t put that person in your life to marry if you guys weren’t compatible in all aspects

completely agreed that it’s more to relationships than just sex, but that should be given. the topic right now IS sex, so that’s what i’m going to talk about. it’s a plethora of reasons on why a marriage/relationship won’t work, but that isn’t the discussion. now, to add, there has been multiple studies of how marriages would lead to divorce and infidelity due to them not having a “happy” sex life. waiting till marriage will amplify that to being a cause

i didn’t shame anyone, i simply just said it’s stupid. however, i see that you mentioned God, meaning that you’re religious, so i think we should just end the conversation right here.

Yeah tbh, an atheist is likely never going to align with a religious person on this because the whole way of living is different. You won’t see our reasons for doing so, and we won’t agree with yours. Better to just agree to disagree 🤷‍♀️

yeah exactly, that’s why i said what i said. it’s disrespect to them, i just understand that a non-religious person and a religious person having a conversation about a controversial topic will just never work. so in that case, i just agree to disagree!
