I think at some point I’m gonna try going to a cocktail bar in town that’s owned by a lesbian couple. I feel like it’d be a more calm and chill environment than one of the sports bars.

I moved across the country for my job (fish biologist). I would say I am friends with my coworkers but they don’t really go to bars. They’re competitive bowlers and will drink while bowling. But I don’t bowl. I’m friendly with them but not “go to bar” friendly if that makes sense, I’ve only worked here 4 months.

Go to a club or a lounge maybe. Beer pong and pool can be a good way to meet people
