Black people get racist with EACH OTHER too, a lot of my black friends in my major have talked about how their friends and family start calling them “too white” just because they prioritized school and got into an okay college 😭

I tell my mom that the things she says about Puerto Ricans is racist all the time 🤣 but to be fair, she’s a black republican. She hates everyone, even herself.

Bc they aren't your oppressors. Hispanic countries tend to be racist asf. Not saying i agree with the sentiment that they can't be racist bc i don't, just offering their view

And they aren’t wrong, prejudice and racist aren’t the same but also Hispanics usually more racist than their Black counterparts. Hispanics stay saying the n-word but say I no black, im Hispanic not black, im Latino not black. Okay great stop saying the n-word why can’t counterparts in your demographic stop saying it.

Black people can be racist 😭. Have you seen how some of them act towards asians, specifically indians or chinese. Hell, some mfs even have internalized racism and perpetuate colorist remarks as a result

When ppl say they can't be racist they don't mean they can't be prejudiced. Just that that prejudice doesn't translate to any real-world harm

Im not saying they are I just feel weird when they say that after making fun of every other culture yk, like my school is very diverse and they’ll just start making comments on other races ig it is more like they’re just more prejudiced but sometimes it feels like they just refuse to accept they don’t like other races 😓

Twin the only ones saying I’m not black are the Hispanics that fall under Afro-Latino and refuse to admit it because of the colorism plaguing the community, do agree tht they need to stop using tht word tho

It’s just not the Afro-Latino/a community but Hispanics as a whole they downgrade blackness for proximity to whiteness. Hispanic and Latino/a isnt a race it’s an ethnicity so if you aren’t a black Hispanic/latino then you are of another and definitely shouldn’t be saying it.

I literally just agreed with you on that😭🙏,no one should be saying tht when it was used to degrade ppl, and colorism is a plague that developed in all of Latin-South America through colonialism and it’s definitely still a very prominent issue that has brain washed ppl
